A fire incident occurred yesterday at a warehouse in Kaafu Thilafushi.

The warehouse belonged to the "Raajje Logistics" company. The fire was put out by firemen from the Maldives National Defence Force (MNDF) Male' Area Command's Thilafushi fire station.

Firefighters from the MNDF Male' Area Command's Thilafushi fire station went to the area and tried to put out the fire when the incident was reported. The incident had been reported at 2:35 pm on Monday, MNDF said.

The firefighters managed to put out the fire around 3:35 pm.

Hardware items inside the warehouse were damaged beyond repair but no one was hurt, MNDF informed the media.
