President Mohamed Muizzu and First Lady Sajidha Mohamed departed for Singapore last night on an unofficial visit.

The President's Office has not disclosed any details regarding the trip, nor has it confirmed a scheduled date for the couple's return to the Maldives.

This marks the President's eighth visit to Singapore since assuming office, consisting of seven unofficial trips and one state visit.

Singapore has been the President's most frequent destination for unofficial travel since his inauguration. Additionally, Muizzu has made several unofficial visits to the United Kingdom during his tenure.
