Sea Gear, a leading provider of marine and water sports equipment in the Maldives, has conducted a special training session to raise awareness on professional vessel cleaning and maintenance products.

The session, held at Champa Central Hotel, was attended by 20 participants, including representatives from resorts, dive centers, boat operators, and operational staff from Silver Sands. The training was conducted by Andreas Tegeler, an expert from the renowned German brand Yachticon.

During the session, participants were briefed on the history of the Yachticon brand and its global reputation, alongside detailed information on various products specifically designed for vessel cleaning and upkeep.

The training emphasized the importance of using appropriate products to enhance the longevity of vessels, particularly in the Maldives' harsh environment characterized by high salinity and intense heat.

A key highlight of the training was the practical live demonstrations. Participants were taught effective techniques for cleaning and maintaining materials such as fiberglass, gelcoat, stainless steel, and boat fenders.

Sea Gear stated that the session provided participants with essential techniques and information required to improve service quality and maintain vessels more cost-effectively.

Sea Gear remains a prominent company in the Maldives, dedicated to providing high-quality products tailored for the local marine industry.
