The yellow color in the logo of the Raajje Transport Link (RTL) has been replaced with gray color.
RTL was launched during the administration of former President Ibrahim Mohamed Solih to connect all the islands with a ferry network.
RTL operates under the Maldives Transport and Contracting Company (MTCC). RTL was launched in Baa atoll on Monday.
Photos publicized the company shows the yellow color was replaces with gray on the logos on the ferries.
But the change has not been brought to the logos on its official social media pages.
MTCC has not stated the reason for the change and RTL did not announce they were bringing changes.
Yellow is the official color of the opposition Maldivian Democratic Party (MDP) which launched the RTL service.
Mohamed Aslam, who was the Planning Minister at the time, said the yellow color on the logo represented land transportation service.
The RTL service is now available in 11 atolls. The network is being expanded in three phases to provide easy and affordable transportation.
