Dhivehi Investment Partners (DIP) and Sri Lanka's HNB Investment Bank have signed a strategic partnership agreement.
DIP Chairman Abdul Wahid Thaufeeq and HNB Chairman Damith Pallewatte signed the agreement during a ceremony at Barcelos Nasandhura.
Wahid said the agreement will provide more investment opportunities to Maldivian businesses and pave the way for their growth.
Damith said the bank decided to move forward with DIP because of the investment opportunities in the Maldives.
DIP Managing Director Ahmed Naseer said the agreement will facilitate Maldivian companies to access finance from foreign markets.
DIP provides fundraising, investment management and financial advisory services to companies through the capital market in the Maldives.
