Bank of Maldives (BML) has partnered with Maldives Olympic Committee (MOC) to offer its Sports Scholarship Program for the second year.
According to BML, the fully funded scholarship offers athletes the chance to train at globally renowned high-performance training centers.
MOC will oversee the selection of athletes and nominations will be open to member associations of the MOC.
In the program’s first batch, seven athletes from four different sports completed their training successfully.
Maldives Gas is temporarily reducing the amount of gas in cylinders due to import challenges and rising global prices. Customers will be charged based on the actual weight at existing rates per kilogram. The government is working on a bulk storage project to provide a permanent solution to these supply issues.

Maldivian has acquired a luxury King Air 360 aircraft to provide high-end transport for resort guests.
