A Chinese tourist has died after going diving in Fuvahmulah.
The tourist went with members from a diving center and died after returning to the boat.
A person from Fuvahmulah told Adhadhu that the tourist suddenly lost consciousness while sitting in the boat to remove diving equipment.
They believe the tourist suffered a heart attack. The tourist was pronounced dead when taken to the hospital.
Fuvahmulah hospital was not responding to calls and the police have not disclosed any details on the incident.
