The 18th edition of the Hotel Asia Exhibition and International Culinary Challenge began today.
The exhibition and culinary challenge will continue until Wednesday from 10:00 am to 6:00 pm and all the stalls can be experienced for free.
The Hotel Asia exhibition has 250 stalls from 350 companies displaying their products. The stalls are at Dharubaaruge and Usfasgandu in Male'.
The stalls display products from 45 countries which are sold by official distributors operating in Male'.

Maldives Exhibition and Conference Service CEO Asim Mukhthar told Adhadhu that the entire convention center in Dharubaaruge has been taken up for the exhibition and that some companies were unable to participate due to constraints in space.
Noting the growing demand for the exhibition each year, Asim said the event will be more perfect with a bigger space for the stalls.
"There are stalls on the ground, first and second floors of the Dharubaaruge. Some stalls are also located in the Usfasgandu area outside Dharubaaruge. We want as many people as possible to visit the stalls," Asim said.

The Culinary Challenge is being held at the Maldives National University (MNU). The event is also free for the public.
More than 600 local and international culinary industry professionals will participate in 25 categories with a distinguished judging panel.
The judges' panel is comprised of more than 15 international and 10 local judges.
The Culinary Challenge will give those in the industry the opportunity to showcase their skills to the public as well as network within the regional culinary community.
