Public opinion has been sought for a paper on the electronic petition (e-petition) system to be introduced to the Parliament Secretariat.
The Parliament Secretariat said in an announcement made today that comments could be submitted with effect on Monday to the policy paper on the e-petition system to be introduced in partnership with the United Nations Development Program (UNDP).
Opinions can be submitted to the email address of the Petition Committee, with a link sent to the Secretariat or through an online form.
The deadline for submitting opinions or comments is 12 pm on April 29.
A meeting is due to take place at 10 am in the morning on April 24 with government agencies, political parties and civil society organizations to provide details from the policy paper on the e-petition mechanism. A meeting with the public will be held at 4 pm on April 26, the Secretariat said.
A summary of the e-petition policy is available through this link.
