The Higher Education Ministry has opened for applications under the student loan scheme.
Applications from current and new students will be accepted until April 25 for 500 student loan opportunities.
The administrative charge for the loan is one percent. Applications for the loan should be submitted through the Higher Education Ministry's portal.

Announcing the loan scheme, Higher Education Minister Dr. Maryam Mariya said this year’s loan scheme is inclusive and includes opportunities for disabled students.
She said the biggest challenge for disabled students to participate in such programs is that their needs are not accounted for in the costs.
“Now we have decided to provide additional assistance to complete the program based on the person's disability,” she said.
She appealed to students to submit their applications by the deadline. The ministry will consider applications submitted by March 21 and provide until April 25 to amend applications.
