Crown & Champa opens new resort in Lhaviyani atoll

The Jawakara Islands Maldives, developed by Crown & Champa resorts with a bridge connecting the islands of Lhaviyani Maabinhuraa and Dheruh Finolhu, opened last week.

The resort has a total of 290 villas, of which 202 are located in Maabinhuraa and 88 in Dheruh Finolhu. That is 110 beach villas, 90 beach pool villas and 70 water pool villas. The islands are connected by a 700-metre bridge.

The Maabinhuraa is 1,400 meters long and 300 meters wide. Dheruh Finolhu is about 450 meters long and 150 meters wide.

Jawakara offers six restaurants, six bars and two spas. The resort also has a kids' club and two infinity pools.

In addition, special courts have been developed for football, badminton, tennis and volleyball and special areas designated for watersports.

The resort can be reached by speed launch and seaplane. The resort is a 40-minute speedboat ride from Madivaru Domestic Airport and a 35-minute seaplane ride from Velana International Airport.

Jawakara Islands Maldives is the sixth resort by Crown & Champa resorts in Lhaviyani atoll and the group's 11th resort in the Maldives.
