Mohan Mutha (MM Exports), an Indian company that imports and sells stone, gravel and other materials in Maldives is preparing to build a resort.
MM Exports Executive Director Suresh Mutha was quoted as saying by The Hindu Businessline that the company is seeking permits to build a wellness resort in the Maldives.
The newspaper reported that MM Exports has decided to invest USD 30 million to develop an all-vegetarian resort that will not sell alcohol.
Suresh Mutha told The Hindu Businessline that the resort will be developed in Vaadhoo. However, there is only one uninhabited island named Vaadhoo.
The Adhaaran Prestige Vaadhoo resort is still operating on the island. Raa Vaadhoo and Gaaf Dhaal Vaadhoo are inhabited islands.
