A Maldivian pilgrim has been found dead near Mount Noor while performing hajj.
The deceased was identified as 72-year-old. Mohamed Naseem Ali from Raa Maakurath island. He was found dead near Mount Noor or Jabal al Nour last night.
Naseem, who went on hajj with the Al Haramain Hajj and Umrah Company, was reported missing on Monday. He disappeared after leaving his tent in Mina.
Saudi authorities, the Maldives' hajj mission and the Maldives' mission in Saudi Arabia were looking for him.
The Hira cave is located on Mount Noor and was frequently visited by Prophet Mohamed. It is about 890 feet above sea level.
