Urbanco will begin the Maldives biggest food carnival on Tuesday.
The carnival will start at 5 pm at Hulhumale’ Central Park. It will continue from 4 pm to 12 am every day until Saturday. The main sponsor of the carnival is Dhiraagu.
Visitors to the carnival will have the opportunity to try a variety of cooking products and experience food made during the carnival.
Some of the biggest companies in the country will be featured in the carnival along with small and medium enterprises.
The Urbanco Maldives Food Carnival will also have the “fun arena” for sports events and the “Handi Ganduvaru” stall for horror lovers.
“Urbanco Maldives Food Carnival is a golden opportunity to experience the food culture in the country and celebrate the changes in food over time through festival activities, this is a must-visit event for foodies or those interested in different cuisines,” Urbanco media official said.
In addition to various food tastings and festival activities, prizes will be awarded to the lucky winners of a daily draw among visitors. There will also be a special prize for the winner of the draw on the final day of the carnival.
