Agreements signed for 10 projects with Indian aid

Agreements have been signed for 10 projects to be carried out with the assistance of the Indian government.

Minister of State for External Affairs of India Vellamvelly Muraleedharanis, who is currently in the Maldives on an official visit, signed the agreements during a ceremony at the foreign ministry on Sunday.

The 10 projects will be carried out under the grant aid of the Indian government.

Foreign ministry said the projects aim towards developing sports and fitness, promoting education and culture and improving operations in health and local governance.

Council office in Lhaviyani Hinnavaru

India is the biggest ally of the current administration and has carried out several such projects on different islands across the country.
