Saudi government offers over 350 scholarships for Maldivians

The Saudi Arabian government has announced more than 350 fully funded scholarships for Maldivian students.

According to the Saudi embassy in Male’, students who apply for scholarships have the option of enrolling in any university they choose.

Applications can be submitted through a Saudi government website.

The embassy noted that 27 Saudi universities were included in the top 100 for 2023 by the QS World University Rankings.

The index is compiled after assessing 15,700 universities operated in 93 regions of the world.

The embassy highlighted achievements by King AbdulAziz university, King Abdullah university of science and technology, Imam Abdulrahman Bin Faisal university and King Fahd university of petroleum and minerals.

These universities are globally renowned for their accomplishments in fields such as pharmacy, pharmacology, dentistry, mineral and mining engineering, petroleum engineering, mathematics, chemistry, and computer science, according to the embassy.
