Foreign Minister Dr. Abdulla Khaleel has departed for Oman on an official visit on the invitation of Foreign Minister Sayyid Badr bin Hamad bin Hamood Albusaidi.

According to the Foreign Ministry, the official visit is from December 10 to December 13.

During the visit, Khaleel will engage in high-level discussions with Sayyid to review the bilateral relations between the Maldives and Oman.

He will also hold meetings with senior dignitaries of the Omani government to explore opportunities to enhance collaboration in various sectors.

The Foreign Ministry said this visit underscores the Maldives’ commitment to fostering strong and mutually beneficial relations with the Sultanate of Oman.

Minister Khaleel is accompanied by Bilateral Secretary Dr. Hala Hameed, Senior Under Secretary Fathimath Naeema and Assistant Director Mohamed Shujau.
