President Dr. Mohammed Muizzu and First Lady Sajida Mohamed left for the UK on Wednesday night on an unofficial visit.

This is Muizzu's first unofficial visit to the UK since assuming office in November 2023.

Adhadhu understands that the President and First Lady are visiting their daughter Yasmin Mohamed Muizzu who is in the UK for higher education.

According to the President's Office, the state will not cover the expenses of this unofficial trip.
