Housing Development Corporation (HDC) employees have "mistakenly" attended a police training program in India.
Four employees of the company's IT department are participating in the training program at the Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel National Police Academy in Hyderabad from November 4 to 8.
The course named "Urban Operations" is for police officers. Adhadhu understands that HDC employees travelled to India for the training "by mistake."
A total of 28 officers are participating in the training program which teaches special police techniques and has a special drill.
The training program was sent to HDC by the relevant government agency. Sources said confusion arose because the course was named Urban Operations.
"This happened because no one really examined it properly," a senior HDC official said.
