A 19-year-old Maldivian man has sustained serious injuries in an accident that occurred in Hulhumale' Phase Two.

The accident occurred near the Hiya flats tower five in Hulhumale' Phase Two, police said. The victim's condition is serious and he is currently undergoing treatment at the Hulhumale' hospital, police said.

The accident occurred when a speeding motorcycle collided with a car, veered out of control and crashed into another car. The Maldivian man injured in the accident did not have a motorcycle driving license, police said.

The case was reported at 8:15 am this morning and an investigation is underway, police said.
