The Maldives Islamic Bank (MIB) has opened a 24-hour service centre in Laamu Fonadhoo island.

President Mohamed Muizzu inaugurated the service centre today during his ongoing visit to Laamu atoll.

The service centre is located at the Fonadhoo ferry terminal.

Laamu atoll now has three MIB service centres. They are in Fonadhoo, Kadhdhoo and Gan.

The service centres in Kadhdhoo and Gan were opened in July last year.

MIB is offering its offering secure online services such as opening accounts, registering for internet banking and applying for the Ujaalaa Dhiriulhun financing facility.
