Ooredoo Maldives has announced a strategic partnership with Villa College to provide training and internship opportunities to empower the next generation in a digital world.

Ooredoo said the agreement will open new avenues for Villa College students and alumni to gain experience from industry experts and enable them to succeed in the fast-growing telecommunications and technology sector.

Ooredoo Maldives HR Director Fazna Mansoor said the company was delighted to be working with Villa College to provide valuable training and internship opportunities to students interested in technology and telecommunications.

"This collaboration will help develop the sector's future leaders, facilitate hands-on experience and provide industry knowledge and mentorship," Fazna said.

Telecommunications is one of the fastest-changing industries due to rapid advances in technology and digital infrastructure and increasing demand for innovative connectivity solutions. The industry is growing and requires skilled workers who are knowledgeable and willing to take on emerging challenges.

Through its partnership with Villa College, Ooredoo aims to provide students with the practical skills and industry insights needed to advance in the field.
