Victory Sports Club strengthened their position at the top of the Dhiraagu Dhivehi Premier League 2026/27 with a 2–0 victory over Gadhdhoo, while the defeat marked a sixth consecutive loss for Gadhdhoo and led to the dismissal of head coach Mohamed Nazeeh.

Elsewhere, TC Sports Club claimed a narrow win over Dhidhdhoo, Maziya Sports & Recreation defeated Biss Buru, and Club Eagles and Odi SC shared the points in a goalless draw.

Victory’s latest result took them to 13 points from five matches, keeping them at the summit with four wins and one draw. They have scored 16 goals and conceded six, giving them a goal difference of +10. Gadhdhoo remain at the bottom of the standings without a point after six matches, having lost all six and recorded just two goals while conceding 16.

The defeat extended Gadhdhoo’s losing run to six consecutive matches, prompting the club to dismiss head coach Mohamed Nazeeh.

TC Sports Club secured a 1–0 victory over Dhidhdhoo Football Team, handing the hosts their first home defeat of the season and recording TC Sports’ second win of the campaign. The result lifted TC Sports to six points from five matches, placing them seventh in the standings with a goal difference of −7.

Dhidhdhoo, meanwhile, have five points from six matches and sit eighth.

Maziya Sports & Recreation also returned to winning ways with a 3–1 victory over Biss Buru Sports Club, earning their third league win of the season. The result moved Maziya to third place with 10 points from five matches, behind Victory and Eagles. Maziya have scored 11 goals and conceded six, giving them a goal difference of +5.

Biss Buru remain sixth with six points from five matches. Despite having two wins, they have suffered three defeats and have a goal difference of −5.

Club Eagles and Odi SC played out a 0–0 draw, with neither side able to find a breakthrough. Eagles remain second with 11 points from five matches, having recorded three wins and two draws without a defeat. Odi SC are fourth with eight points from five matches, level on points with New Radiant Sports Club but ahead on goal difference.

New Radiant’s scheduled match against Buru SC was postponed due to adverse weather conditions. New Radiant therefore remain on eight points from four matches, while Buru SC have three points from four games and sit ninth in the standings.

With Victory now two points clear of Eagles, the top of the table is beginning to take shape, although Maziya remain within reach. The battle for position is also tightening among Odi SC, New Radiant, Biss Buru and TC Sports as the league campaign continues.
